Applicants must hold Degrees/Certificates recognized by the Higher Education Commission/Relevant Boards for the positions available at the Department of Explosives, Head Office, Islamabad, and its Regional Offices in Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, and Multan. For instance, for the post of Assistant, a graduate degree is required with an age limit of 18-28 years, along with completion of a 6-week Basic Training Course, including MS Office, from NITB before probation period ends. Similarly, for the Data Entry Operator position, a second class or Grade “C” Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Statistics/Mathematics/Physics is necessary, with an age limit of 18-25 years and a minimum typing speed of 10,000 key depressions per hour.
Lower Division Clerk requires Matriculation with a typing speed of 30 w.p.m., with a mandatory 3-week Basic Training Course from NITB. Other positions have their own specific qualifications and age limits. General relaxation of age is applicable per Government rules, and candidates may apply for multiple posts by submitting separate application forms. Original documents along with attested copies must be presented during the interview, and applications found with false information will be cancelled. Applicants currently in Government service must apply through proper channels and provide a NOC at the time of interview.
